Tips for an Amazing Vacation in Goa


Enthralling nightlife, sun-kissed beaches, fun n frolic days, delicious sea food and those never ending parties, Goa is undeniably one of the most sought after destinations of the world. It is the place that never fails to attract travelers and people from all over the world throng this place every year. Come to Goa and I am sure it will become an urge and then, of course a tradition! Though, every time you rush to this striking place, you need to have a checklist that will help you to get ready for this place at aplomb.

  • Well, if you are thinking of those sunny and glitzy beaches of Goa and that too with your favorite beach wear, then rush to the shop immediately and buy a good sunscreen of at least 50 SPF. In case you do forget though, there are many pharmacies and shops from where you can get one.
  • Always carry your favorite shades and a hat or cap when exploring Goa. You can also pick sunglasses in jazzy colors from any roadside stall or purchase a flamboyant fedora that suits you to bring on the more style.
  • Put minimal clothes and footwear in your baggage for Goa as here, you won’t need much attires or gears. Life is always fun in Goa and it is always good to pack light.
  • Now comes the most important thing to arrange after arriving in Goa. Yes, it’s the transport. The best would be to rent a car or scooter as it will save your lots of bucks and will also give you all the freedom you could need.
  • Avoid carrying any expensive jewelry or wear to the bare minimum to avoid any loss or steal.
  • Don’t carry much cash while traveling. A debit or credit card would be a better option.
  • Goa is hot and humid. So, keep drinking water or other drinks that will help you keep hydrated as the heat and sun of Goa can literally sap your all energy.
  • Avoid peak season i.e. December, as Goa is too crowded and costly in this month that will destroy your budget. So, book your flights to Goa in low season and utilize that money in shopping.
